Catching Some Z's

Caleb's jaundice treatment seems to be progressing fairly well. His bilirubin level went down late last night and was stabilized this morning. Caleb enjoyed a meal around lunchtime. After eating, his very tired mom took a nap. In the meantime, Caleb and I got some quality one-on-one time. Instead of putting him back in the bilirubin blanket, we spent some time near the window so Caleb could get some sunshine rather than go back to the harsh artificial light of the bilirubin blankent. In this picture, Caleb takes a nap in the warm sunshine while his dad admires his beautiful, peaceful face.

That is a precious picture and should be used by the hospital in a marketing campaign! Caleb is precious. I hope to hold him someday before he's walking & talking! Love you all!

I look at this picture every day! I like to click on it and it shows a full screen close up of his face. Those 20 seconds I spend with Caleb's picture are the most peaceful moments of my day.

He is so adorable & we can't wait to see him in person. It takes a little while to figure out the best way to swaddle a wiggley baby. Give it some time. You do it so often that soon you'll be able to swaddle a gorilla with your eyes shut. Congratulations! We're so happy for you guys!
